Welcome to AmpStamp 1.9! Let’s take a moment to introduce the new effects with some presets that you can start experimenting with.
Preset: 1987
We start off with an instant classic. With a redesigned and more effective tone stack, the VG208F Amplifier and VG 4x12A 300W ’87 Cabinet are ready to rock right out of the box. Combined with a slight boost from the OD101 Overdrive, this tone is mid-scooped and crushing.
Preset: Mu Too
The EF100 Filter paved the way for new expression. Harkening back to an earlier era of amplifiers, we’ve paired this effect with the VG402C Amplifier and VG 4x12B 100W ’73 Cabinet, what would have been available at the time. You can also disengage the amp for a direct auto-wah tone.
Preset: Anvil
It’s time to get experimental with the RM100 Ring Modulator. Use the Modulation slider to adjust the balance between input and modulated signal. And don’t forget, if you’re working in a DAW that supports sidechaining, you can run any input into this effect for some very unexpected results! Toggle the Sidechain switch in the More Control menu.
